Creator Terms

These Creator Terms supplement the Oyster Terms of Use and apply to creators who upload, publish, or monetize content on Oyster.

1. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading content, you grant Oyster a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, perform, and create technical modifications as needed to operate and promote the Service.

2. Creator Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you upload and all associated rights.
• You must not upload content that violates law or others’ rights.
• You must comply with Oyster Community Guidelines and policies.
• You must provide truthful metadata (titles, tags, descriptions).

3. Monetization and Payments

If Oyster offers monetization features, eligibility, rates, payment timing, and rules may be set by Oyster and updated from time to time. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any taxes or reporting obligations.

Oyster may withhold, adjust, or reverse payments in cases of fraud, invalid traffic, policy violations, chargebacks, legal requirements, or platform errors.

4. Brand and Promotion

You may not imply Oyster endorses you or your content unless we provide written permission. You may promote your Oyster content using standard links and embeds where available.

5. Enforcement

Oyster may limit distribution, quarantine, remove, or disable access to content and accounts to enforce policies, comply with law, or protect the platform.
