Advertiser Policy

This Advertiser Policy governs advertising campaigns, creatives, and placements on Oyster. It is designed to protect users, creators, and the integrity of the platform.

1. General Requirements

  • Ads must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading.
  • Ads must comply with applicable law and regulations.
  • Ads must respect user privacy and platform rules.
  • Landing pages must function, be secure, and match the ad claims.

2. Prohibited Content

Oyster may reject or remove ads that involve:

  • Scams, deceptive offers, or misleading claims
  • Adult sexual content or exploitative content
  • Hate, harassment, or violent extremist content
  • Illegal goods or services
  • Malware, phishing, or harmful code

3. Targeting and Measurement

Targeting options may include contextual tags, placements, geography, or other parameters supported by the platform. We may limit targeting to protect users or comply with law.

Oyster may use automated or manual review for creatives and may monitor delivery for invalid traffic, fraud, or policy violations.

4. Billing and Refunds

Billing terms, prepaid balances, CPM rates, and refund policies may vary by program and will be disclosed in the advertiser product experience or in an insertion order where applicable. Oyster may issue credits or adjust billing for invalid traffic, platform errors, or policy enforcement.

5. Enforcement

Oyster may reject, pause, or remove campaigns and creatives at any time. Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or termination.
